Robert V. Sisca’s practice in real estate, lender representation, commercial transactions and estate planning has been a growing presence in Connecticut and New York from the firm’s establishment in 2000. For that reason, it is no surprise that Mr. Sisca has grown his practice by providing a level of personal attention to his client matters that exceeds expectations. In the real estate arena, Mr. Sisca’s ability to handle each aspect of a transaction with extraordinary care is valued by his clients. In addition to the typical elements of a real estate purchase or sale, he often provides the unexpected— his extensive relationship with title companies, lenders, and real estate professionals enables him to serve as an invaluable resource to provide a seamless process from beginning to end.
Mr. Sisca takes a collaborative approach when representing clients. In addition to employing various members of the firm to assist with their expertise, Mr. Sisca takes the time to speak with other members of the clients support apparatus to gain a better understanding of the context of the issues at hand.
Mr. Sisca has also developed a focus on handling the interests of lenders. Serving as lender’s counsel for many years, Mr. Sisca’s practice has developed specific processes and protocols for lenders to ensure compliance with Federal and State banking regulations and lender specific requirements.
In addition, Mr. Sisca has drafted closing instructions, closing documents and acted as lender review counsel to lenders seeking to streamline the closing process while mitigating post-closing issues.
In the general business arena, Mr. Sisca represents entrepreneurs and seasoned business executives often guiding clients buy/sell agreements or creating the proper business entity, assisting in various licensing requirements, drafting and negotiating stockholder/operating agreements, and when called upon, using his extensive business relationships to advance his clients’ interests.
Mr. Sisca’s involvement in the community extends well beyond his law practice. He serves as the President of the Old Timers Athletic Association of Greenwich which supports area youth sports; is a Board member of the Town of Greenwich, Board of Ethics, the North West Greenwich Association, and is a former member of the Greenwich Inland Wetlands and Watercourse Agency. Additionally, Mr. Sisca provides pro bono counsel to numerous individuals and entities including the Gateway Youth Football League in Greenwich and is active in the numerous bar associations of which he is a member.
